Maitland City Council engaged Watt Asset Advisory to perform asset valuations for several of their bridge and major culvert structures across the Council region.
Yarrabong Bridge Remedial Scope of Works Brief and Construction Phase Support.
Maitland City Council engaged Watt Asset Advisory to prepare a scope of works brief for the concrete patch repairs to the Yarrabong Bridge. The brief was prepared to address the isolated instances of delamination, spalling and reinforcement corrosion of the headstocks and piles.
Condition Assessment and Technical Repair Specification of Charlestown Pool.
Lake Macquarie City Council engaged Watt Asset Advisory to perform a detailed condition assessment of the 50m pool located at Charlestown Swim Centre to support asset management planning at the facility.
Carslaw Building at University of Sydney.
Duratec engaged Watt Asset Advisory to provide construction phase support whilst undertaking refurbishment works to the Carslaw Building at the University of Sydney, located in Camperdown, NSW. Services included a comprehensive review of the proposed replacement balustrade and column design loading.
Balickera Tunnel Remediation Project.
Watt Asset Advisory worked closely with Abergeldie to undertake condition assessment of the concrete lined sections of the tunnel during the rehabilitation works program as part of the approval to proceed permit system.
Belmont WWTW Aeration Tank System Condition Assessment.
Guidera O’Connor (GO) recently completed the Belmont Waste Water Treatment Works (WWTW) Diffuser and Concrete Joint Replacement Project, in Belmont New South Wales. As part of the project, GO engaged Watt Asset Advisory to undertake a visual inspection of three aeration tanks within the Belmont Waste Water Treatment system.
Kooragang Bridges Engineering Inspections.
Watt Asset Advisory were engaged by ARTC to perform engineering inspections of the Kooragang Arrivals and Departures Underbridges. The 8 span steel structures cross the Hunter River in Mayfield, NSW and are both comprised of steel plate web girders which bear on concrete piers and abutments.
Charlestown and Windale Skate Park Investigation.
Lake Macquarie City Council engaged Watt Asset Advisory to investigate the as-constructed slab thickness, assess reinforcement depth and distribution and undertake crack mapping at two council owned skate parks, Charlestown and Windale.
Morisset and Swansea Pool Condition Assessments.
Lake Macquarie City Council engaged Watt Asset Advisory to undertake a detailed condition assessment of the 50m pool at Swansea Swim Centre and the 25m pool at Morisset. The condition assessment was to support the ongoing asset management planning for the facility.
Newcastle Concrete Underbridge Engineering Inspections.
Watt Asset Advisory were engaged by ARTC to undertake engineering inspections of seven underbridge structures located in Sandgate, New South Wales. The structures range in size from concrete box culverts to the 24-span Sandgate flyover bridge.
Victoria Bridge Repair Scope of Works and Technical Specification.
The Victoria Bridge in Maitland is a three-span steel bridge that carries High Street over Wallis Creek. The bridge was constructed circa 1896 and is comprised of Dorman Long and Co. steel sections that originated from Middlesborough, England.
Maitland Level 2 Bridge Inspections - 2023.
Watt Asset Advisory were engaged by Maitland City Council to undertake Level 2 Inspections of eleven bridge and major culvert structures throughout the Council area. In addition to the Level 2 Inspections, Watt Asset Advisory were engaged to install crack monitoring equipment on the Bishops Bridge on Maitland’s Wollombi Road.
